About Jeremy Winzer
At my core, I am a devoted father and an active community member, committed to promoting equality and justice for all. I am a college graduate from Morehouse College and a convicted felon.
Biography
I currently serve as the Director of Youth Support Specialists for Progress Pushers, a community-based organization supporting systemically impacted youth aged 12 to 24. I am part of the Regional Peacekeepers Collective, working with individuals affected directly or indirectly by gun violence, and a voting member of the Care & Closure Committee for King County.
I am trained in the National Credible Messenger Initiative, Youth Mental Health First Aid USA by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, de-escalation training with Dr. Aquil Basheer, and “Violence Is a Disease” training with Alive and Free.
